Description: This course is beneficial for the novice and for the seasoned professional in the recognition and treatment of ADHD. It outlines the three subtypes of the disorder and identifies medications that are useful in managing the disorder. Co-occurring disorders are discussed as well as methods for differentiating ADHD from other disorders in the assessment process. Behavioral interventions are presented to assist parents and teachers in effectively managing the disorder. 1. Identify symptoms of ADHD. 2.
